5 Reasons Trump Is Right to Save Incandescent Light Bulbs
I may like LED bulbs a little more, but they are likely to progress as a technology because of Trump’s revoking the standards. If the lower prices of incandescent bulbs aren’t a factor in competition, there’s no incentive for firms to figure out how to make LED bulbs cheaper, which is point #4 the article states. Assuming LED bulbs can give the same quality of light incandescent bulbs provide (which I think they can, or do better), a lower-cost LED bulb would be a clear winner.

Lorn – Sega Sunset
“The Running Man” short from the Neo Tokyo film, set to some excellent retro-styled synth work. This was technically the first anime I ever saw, because it was on MTV’s Liquid Television, readily accessing to impressionable minds like mine. I didn’t know what in the world I was watching but the visuals stuck with me ever since. Eighties anime was really something else; you’re not going to see this stuff now, with its slow, ponderous build-up, and completely hand-drawn cyberpunk noir.

Vivos Underground Survival Shelters | Affordable Luxury Bunkers
I’m sure the people who research and develop these things have already considered a lot of angles, but I feel like one bad actor could ruin an entire shelter when the time comes. Have I watched too much TV?

The Secret Meeting that Changed Rap Music and Destroyed a Generation
Sounds exaggerated or far-fetched, but I don’t doubt the possibility of something like this happening. There are much more efficient ways of promoting criminal behavior to fill private prisons than promoting hip hop that would get much better ROI. I feel like any decision-maker high enough to buy into this plan would see the flaws easily. But I still do wonder how a form of music known for its blatantly offensive lyrics had gotten so massively popular. However…:

Racism Is Not a Sin
“Without faith, DNA trumps culture. More precisely, DNA will shape culture in the long run. Give folks a choice and they will revert to their ancestors’ cultural habits. This is particularly true if there are multiple families from the same background living in the same community. Tribalism is a hard-wired human instinct.”

Yeah, without an atmosphere, colors are far more vivid and accurate. I have no trouble chuckling at the landing failures, given the presentation. And yes, a survival shelter suffers much the same social dynamics as a prison. The rap music story is manifestly false in dates and sequence, but the underlying story has some truth to it — somebody wanted to make money from that crap, and the artists are being exploited, just as they are in every other genre. Lookbooks: Nothing new, if you take the time to think about it.
